Bilbao
Guggenheim Bilbao
Frank Gehry's titanium museum changed Bilbao in 1997. The building is the attraction for many visitors — curved panels, glass atriums, and sculptures on the riverfront including Louise Bourgeois's giant spider.
Inside: Rothko, Warhol, Basquiat, and rotating temporary shows. Timed entry keeps the atrium manageable on busy days.
